Real Estate

While most of the Country is experiencing negative growth in home building and existing sales, Real Estate in Charlotte NC, is one of the few areas that has maintained, or at best, dropped very little!

What makes Charlotte so strong is that there was never a huge housing bubble, says Mark Baldwin, executive VP of Home Builders Association of Charlotte. “Prices in Charlotte have never been artificially inflated, and we never had the investor market that other areas in the country had.” Indeed, prices in the Charlotte metro area are up since the national housing market peaked in Q04 2005, according to data published on WSJ.com.
